I just received your Friends for W.C. letter and my wife and I are outraged. The statement, "Removed state income tax from seniors and military pensions.", is far from the truth! As two retired Navy E-6's we are upset that Missouri raised the income for exemtion levels for state retirees yet leaves the military retirees almost 1/3 of that. Why are we being taxed at all on income that we served a combined 40 years for? We have been residents of Camdenton since retiring 10 years ago and dont understand how the state can play favorites with pensions.
