Mr. Zarelli, My son is in the Philippines and having a real stale-mate with the Embassy in getting his wife to the states. He was married approx. a year and a half ago, & has a 10 month old baby. The Philippines consider them married, and the US gov considers this E5 Sgt of the US army as married. Our Embassy, however, does not recognize them as a married couple. This is due to our son leaving the Philippines 7 days after the ceremony, and 5 days before the paperwork was finally processed at the town hall. He was being deployed to Afghanistan. He has tried to get a VISA for his wife to come to the United States and keeps running into dead ends at the Embassy. He just finished his 7th tour in Afghanistan and is currently in the Philippines trying to get a contact in the Embassy. He only has three weeks left there and he needs to return to his post. Is there anyway you could help us" A possible contact that could aid us" Any resources you could send our way would be highly appreciated. We go to City Harvest Church and have your phone number, but don't want to intrude on your private life. An e-mail address would be helpful. Thank you for your time.
