SB1125 would have totally exempted military pensions from Missouri taxation. This would endanger other public pensions (encouraging lawsuits, because of past MO Supreme Court rulings on this issue). It's about...all of us (veterans, civil servants, etc., working together--as in HB444, recently enacted into law July 2007. Thanks, Senator Crowell, for fighting for our Veterans' pensions (but I too fought alongside them shoulder-to-shoulder sometimes, in wars from 'Nam to Desert Storm...as a civil service employee). Bravo for HB444, a much more fair bill for us all.
