what you think that gay people dont vote why should we not have the same rights as straight people. Its not about who you love sir its about that you love someone at all when people relaise that the world will be a better place.

I want to thank you for your proposal to block funding to state universities who try and use wording or "legalese" to allow benefits for partners. It is a slap in the face to all who pay taxes and attended those institutions. This great State voted against alternative marriages and these people think that this is not a method of working around that. The excuse they use "need to do this to be competitive" is another slap in the face as if we cannot have solid programs without supporting every personal lifestyle that comes down the road. I personally know plenty of doctors, engineers, etc., etc. etc. who do not choose to live an alternative lifestyle and they are outstanding professionals. I am confident that we can keep our programs focused on educating and not supporting liberal agendas and we will be just fine just like our forefathers. Thank you for your service and prompt attention to this issue.
