Senator Cummings,
I was more than appalled while at the State House Wednesday evening to see that while important amendments were being discussed and voted on, you were knitting the whole time! I felt horrified for all of the state employees that had to watch how seriously you take your job while they are losing theirs. Then, you voted against everything that could possibly protect them at this point! I certainly hope all of the voters decide that you should be enjoying your knitting at home from now on. - Lew Friedland said04/23/2011
Ms. Ann Cummings,
I'm very disappointed, no actually appalled, that you did not support increased taxes now on those with high incomes. What disease is it that in the US there is such resistance to taxing the wealthy. There is no rational reason for this position. The wealthy aren't going to leave the State, and if they do good riddance. It's people like Bernie Sanders and Anthony Pollina who represent rational, sane and appropriate economic positions. You were quoted as saying you don't like targeting rich people. Why not? The poor and middle class have been the targeted since Reagan. My latest vote for you was the last vote for you.
