Full-time state legislator; born in Joliet; B.A., business education, Colorado State University; former school teacher and coach; served in U.S. Army; former Joliet Township Supervisor; received "Legislator of the Year" award from the Red Cross, 1991; married, (wife Pat), he has four children (one deceased) and nine grandchildren.
