Born June 1, 1955, in Chicago; B.A., Western Illinois University; J.D., DePaul University College of Law; former Chief of Staff for former Governor Jim Edgar and Director of Legislative Affairs for former Governor James R. Thompson; former judge of the Illinois Court of Claims; member, Illinois Issues Legislative Staff Hall of Fame; "Distinguished Alumni" award, Western Illinois University, 1997; married (wife, Stephanie) and two daughters.
