Rep. Charlie Denison, a Republican, represents part of Greene County (District 135) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Elected to the House in 2004, Rep. Denison is a retired heavy truck sales manager. Rep. Denison attends and serves as usher at the Second Baptist Church of Springfield. Throughout his career, Rep. Denison has received such awards as: The Dale Carnegie Achievement Award, Ford Motor Company- Outstanding Achievement Award and an Outstanding Dedication to the American Diabetes Association Award. Born on August 18, 1935 in Quanah, Texas, Rep. Denison graduated Quanah High School in 1953. He currently lives in Springfield, Missouri with his wife, Daryl. They have three children: Charles Denison II, Deborah Norris and Laurie Soulshy.
