Biography
Rep. Ward Franz, a Republican, represents Howell County (District 151) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Elected to the House in 2004, Rep. Franz is a former Juvenile Officer. In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Franz is a member of the West Plains and Mountain View Chambers of Commerce and an SMSU-West Plains Booster. Rep. Franz attends the First Baptist Church of West Plains. A 1981 graduate of Hermann High School in Hermann, Missouri, Rep. Franz received a Bachelor of Science degree in Church Recreation and Speech Communications from Southwest Baptist University in 1985 and received a Masters in Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1987.
