Biography
Rep. Thomas Albert Villa, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis City (District 108) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Rep. Villa was elected to the House in November 2000. He previously served in the House from 1974-1984, holding the leadership positions of Majority Whip from 1978-1980 and Majority Floor Leader from 1980-1984. In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Villa is affiliated with Villa Lighting Supply Company. He was also president of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen from 1987-1995, serving as presiding officer and member of the Board of Estimate and Apportionment. He also worked in education as a guidance counselor at Central High School from 1970-1975 and as an English teacher at Augustinian Academy from 1968-1969. Rep. Villa is a member
