Biography
Rep. Craig Bland, a Democrat, represents part of Jackson County (District 43) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected in March 2001 during a special election to fill an un-expired term. Rep. Bland has been a committeeman in the 17th Ward for 14 years and is an active member of Freedom Incorporated. He has been a member of the UAW for 24 years. A lifelong resident of Kansas City, Rep. Bland attended Lincoln University and DeVry Institute. He is single and has one daughter, Brooke. His church affiliation is Catholic.
