Biography
Rep. Jason Brown, a Republican, represents Platte County (District 30) in the Missouri House of Representatives. The district includes: parts of unincorporated Platte County, Camden Point, Dearborn, Edgerton, Village of Farley, Village of Ferrelview, Kansas City, Parkville, Platte City, Village of Ridgley, Tracy, and Weatherby Lake. He was first elected to the House in November 2002. In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Brown owns and operates a small business. He is also the deacon at the First Christian Church of Platte City. From 1998-2001 he worked as the public works director of Platte City. He serves in the United States Army Reserves and is a veteran of overseas tours in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iraq. He received a Purple Heart, the Combat Action Badge and a Bronze Star. He
