Biography
Rep. Kenny Jones, a Republican, represents Moniteau, Cooper and parts of Morgan and Pettis Counties (District 117) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Elected to the House in 2004, Rep. Jones was the Moniteau County Sheriff for the last 20 years and spent 11 years with the Missouri Highway Patrol as a Trooper. In addition to his legislative duties Rep. Jones is an Elder in the First Christian Church of California and a member of the Lions Club and Masonic Lodge. He is also the current Vice President of the Missouri Sheriff’s Retirement Board. A 1968 graduate of Lockwood High School in Lockwood, Mo, Rep. Jones received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1972. He went on to graduate from the Missouri Highway Patrol Academy in 1974.
