Biography
Rep. Charles H. Norr, a Democrat, represents northwest Springfield (District 137) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2006. In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Norr is a retired Captain for the Baltimore County Fire Department in Baltimore, Maryland. He served for 20 years as a firefighter and paramedic. Rep. Norr also served in the United States Navy from 1961-1965 and spent two years in the Navy Reserve. Rep. Norr is a member of the National Avenue Christian Church, Woodlands Heights Neighborhood Association, the Midtown Neighborhood Association, and many other organizations. He was awarded the Springfield Urban Neighborhood Alliance’s Outstanding Volunteer Award and received the Nova Award for exceptional service from Caring
