Biography
Ray Weter, a Republican, represents Christian and Taney Counties (District 142) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Elected to the house in 2004, Representative Weter is a retired Cardiovascular Perfusionist. A Baptist, Representative Weter has also been an oral examiner for the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. He is a member of the Ozark A+ Advisory Board, the James River Basin Partnership, Missouri Farm Bureau, and a lifetime member of the Ozark Booster Club. Serving as an alderman and treasurer for the City of Fremont Hills also gave Representative Weter valuable skills in the workings of government.
