Biography
Rep. Gary Dusenberg, a Republican, represents part of Jackson County (District 54) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Rep. Dusenberg is a retired Missouri State Highway Patrolman who served 26 years on the Highway Patrol. He also served on active duty as a United States Marine in the Vietnam War from 1966-1969. Rep. Dusenberg is a member of Timothy Lutheran Church in Blue Springs. He is also a member of the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce, American Legion Post 499, VFW Post 30, IOOF Lodge #497, Missouri State Troopers Association, Blue Springs Traffic Commission Blue Springs Historical Society, Jackson County Farm Bureau and The Republican Leadership Council. Rep. Dusenberg graduated from Warrenton High School in 1964. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Missouri-Kansas
