Biography
Rep. Rachel Storch, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis City and County (District 64) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Elected to the House in 2004, She currently serves as Deputy Whip for the Democratic Caucus. Following her first year in office, Storch was named "Best Local Politicianâ by the Riverfront Times. She was also designated as "Up-and-Coming Politicianâ in St. Louis Magazineâs 2005 A-List Awards. Storch also received the Paraquad Disability Rights Legislative Leadership Award; the Legal Services of Eastern Missouri Legislative Award; and the Gateway Young Democratsâ Young Achiever Award. Rep. Storch previously worked for former Senator Jean Carnahan as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Policy Advisor on the issues of education,
