Biography
Rep. Schieffer, a Democrat, represents Lincoln County (District 11) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2006. In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Schieffer lives on the family farm. He spent 30 years as a teacher, real estate broker and instructor. Rep. Schieffer is a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and previously served as Grand Knight. He holds a membership in the Lincoln County Historical Society, the Retired Teachers Association, the Missouri Farm Bureau and the NRA. Rep. Schieffer is active in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Troy, Missouri. Rep. Schieffer is also an alumnus of 4-H and FFA and is an active support of these youth programs. A graduate of Troy Buchanan High School in Troy, Missouri, Rep. Schieffer earned a Bachelor
