Biography
Rep. Beth Low, a Democrat, represents part of Jackson County (District 39) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Elected to the House in 2004, Rep. Low previously worked as Community Organizer and Program Director for the Missouri Progressive Vote Coalition. In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Low is a member of the Greater Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus, Co-founder of the Kansas City Progressive Roundtable and a member of the Committee for County Progress. Rep. Low also attends the All Souls Unitarian Univeralist Church of Kansas City. Rep. Low was the 2003 recipient of the Greater Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus Torch Award. Rep. Low graduated from Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, Missouri in 1995. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree
