Biography
Rep. Van Kelly, a Republican, represents Douglas and Wright counties and part of Texas County (District 144) in the Missouri House of Representatives. In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Kelly is a dairy farmer. Formerly he was a deputy sheriff in Ava for 15 years, working as a bailiff and jailer. Rep. Kelly is the director of Camp Joy Bible Youth Camp and is a member of Liberty Faith Church. Rep. Kelly is a graduate of Norwood High School and attended Drury University and the Springfield Police Academy. Born January 28, 1965 in Mountain Grove, Rep. Kelly resides in Norwood, Mo.
