Biography
Rep. Billy Pat Wright, a Republican, represents part of Stoddard, Cape Girardeau and Wayne Counties (District 159) in the Missouri House of Representatives. Elected to the House in 2004, Rep. Wright is a retired Southwestern Bell Telephone Company real estate agent and rancher. Rep. Wright is a member of the Dexter Rotary Club, the Telephone Pioneers of America, and the Masonic Lodge of Dexter and Missouri Cattlemen’s Association. Rep. Wright also attends the Church of Christ with his wife. Throughout his career, Rep. Wright has been awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award by the Dexter Rotary Club and served as President of the Cotton Club of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He also participated in the A T & T 1984 Olympic Torch relay in Missouri as a racerunner. A 1957 graduate
