Biography
Rep. Therese Sander, a Republican, represents Chariton and Randolph counties and part of Macon County (District 22) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to the House in November 2002. Rep. Sander is vice chair of the Agriculture Committee. In 2003, Rep Sander was appointed to the Missouri Rural Economic Development Council and to the Council of State Governments' Agriculture and Rural Policy Task Force for 2003-2004. In 2003 Sander introduced HB349, Concealed Carry Legislation, which ultimately became law over Governor’s Holden’s veto. During the summer and fall of 2003, Rep. Sander served on the Interim Committee to study the foundation formula. Sander has received the 2004 Friend of Agriculture award from Missouri Farm Bureau. In addition
