Biography
Representative Stanley Cox, a Republican, represents part of Lafayette, Pettis and Saline Counties (District 118) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2006. In additional to his legislative duties, Representative Cox is engaged in the private practice of law in Sedalia, Missouri. Stanley served in active duty with the United States Army (Signal Corps) between 1971 and 1973, stationed in the Republic of Korea and the U.S. Military Academy - West Point, New York. He also served as an officer in the Missouri Army National Guard from 1974 through 1979, attaining the rank of Captain. Stanley served as the elected Prosecuting Attorney of Pettis County from 1979 through 1982. He served on the Missouri Housing Development Commission from 1984 through
