All Aviation Legislation - Louisiana

Memorializes Congress to provide financial support for the establishment and construction of a general aviation facility in lower Plaquemines Parish.

Creates a new Louisiana Airport Authority Board of Commissioners, but abolishes this new board and the Authority effective July 1, 2009 and transfers all of its funds, books, records, etc. to DED if DED finds that a project "commonly referred to as the Louisiana Transportation Center" is not economically feasible or if an appropriation is not provided for such a study. Increases the maximum amount of Transportation Trust Fund money that is annually made available for the General Aviation and Reliever Airport Maintenance Grant Program from $200,000 to $300,000. (7/1/08)

Requests the Board of Regents to approve the expanded role, scope and mission to include selected doctoral degrees at LSU-Shreveport.
