Expenditures - Exceeds $1,500,000* Bill Summary for *HB0037 / SB0174 Present law sets juror compensation at no less than $10.00 per day. Present law allows the legislative body of any county or metropolitan form of government to vote to increase this to a higher daily rate and to reimburse all tolls necessarily incurred in going to and returning from court and mileage at the rate of 10 cents per mile on the way from the home of the juror to the courthouse, or in the alternative such county may pay each juror a flat rate of $11.00 per day.
