To proclaim May 18, 2005 as "Grandparents Day."

Designates the Smokin' Oldies Cook-Off in West Baton Rouge Parish as an official state barbeque championship.

Designates May 12, 2008 as Mary Kay Day.

Commends Terri Hoover Dunham for her lovely rendition of "The Legend of Papa Noel, a Cajun Christmas Story" and Laura Knorr for her beautiful illustrations in the book which so meaningfully reflects Louisianians' pride in the Cajun heritage and culture of the state.

Commends Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., for its achievements and community service and to designate June 4, 2008, as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority "Red and White" Day at the Legislature of Louisiana.

Expresses legislative support for the creation of a joint legislative Substance Abuse and Mental Health Caucus.
