Creates the Illinois Family-Law Study Committee to examine the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act, study the changes in law and society since the Act was enacted, and recommend how the Act should be amended to improve and update it.
House Amendment No. 1 Makes various changes in the composition of the Illinois Family-Law Study Committee. Provides that the Committee shall submit its final report by December 31, 2008 (instead of July 1, 2009).
