Create a new section of KRS Chapter 439 to establish the "Probation and Parole Trust Fund"; provide for payments out of the trust fund for 2008 salary increases for probation and parole employees, uniform allowances, and the purchase of vehicles; raise all probation and parole employees two (2) pay grades effective August 1, 2008 with a ten percent (10%) pay raise; amend KRS 439.315 to raise the minimum felony supervision fee from ten dollars ($10) to twenty-five dollars ($25); impose a ten dollar ($10) per month fee for drug testing; provide that one-half (1/2) of the felony supervision fee be paid into the trust fund and one-half (1/2) be paid into the general fund; provide that all of the drug testing fee be paid into the trust fund; amend KRS 439.570 to add the drug testing fee and a one hundred dollar ($100) transfer fee to be paid under the interstate compact as conditions of supervision, with payments made into the trust fund; amend KRS 532.050 to impose a one hundred dollar ($100) [...]
