I'm assuming Senator Kurt Schaefer hs been bought out by the insurance companies or he would have brought it backup for an override of Nixon's veto. Every Senator I've contacted says they will support the veto vote, but Schaefer won't bring it up again. I guess money in the pocket is more important than doing what is right for Missouri. - Cliff Perdue said07/21/2009
As a graduate of the Missouri Motorcycle safty Course I was taught that the majority of motorcycle related deaths were from head injury. That being said why would anyone want to take the risk.If the governor signs this bill God be with those who elect to fore go their own safety.

Millions of riders in the US and none of the cash goes to our state. It is good busness. It is also our right to deceide, not the fool in the car who is running us overs!! - Steve Jones said06/14/2009
Mr. Governer, I strongly encourage you to sign the bill. - tw said06/08/2009
What lunatic would automatically assume a motorcyclist is at fault. Motorcyclists are always having to keep a careful watch for the idiots with 4 wheels. Pay attention and watch for all types of vehicles. This should be passed. - gigi said06/08/2009
I support this bill. Freedom of choice, Plain and simple. - Chrisco said06/08/2009

This needs to pass and put the choice back in the hand of the riders - Dan said06/06/2009
End discrimination! Pass this bill - And by the way, who was the idiot that dreamed up automatically placing blame on a motorcycle operator even though soemone else is a fault??!! This bill will end that lunacy. And I do not need government to tell me what to wear!!! - duston said06/05/2009
media keeps printing how motorcyclist die or recieve brain injury from wrecks and blame the rider for not wearing a helmet. i would like to the numbers of these accidents that where automobile drivers fault. i have been a rider for many years and rode with a lot of riders. almost all of them are more aware of the enviroment around them. wish we could say the same about automobile drivers. - C DAWG said06/04/2009
