I'm assuming Senator Kurt Schaefer hs been bought out by the insurance companies or he would have brought it backup for an override of Nixon's veto. Every Senator I've contacted says they will support the veto vote, but Schaefer won't bring it up again. I guess money in the pocket is more important than doing what is right for Missouri.

As a graduate of the Missouri Motorcycle safty Course I was taught that the majority of motorcycle related deaths were from head injury. That being said why would anyone want to take the risk.If the governor signs this bill God be with those who elect to fore go their own safety.

What lunatic would automatically assume a motorcyclist is at fault. Motorcyclists are always having to keep a careful watch for the idiots with 4 wheels. Pay attention and watch for all types of vehicles. This should be passed.

media keeps printing how motorcyclist die or recieve brain injury from wrecks and blame the rider for not wearing a helmet. i would like to the numbers of these accidents that where automobile drivers fault. i have been a rider for many years and rode with a lot of riders. almost all of them are more aware of the enviroment around them. wish we could say the same about automobile drivers.
