I oppose the bill. IC22-15-8-8 should remain the same. The statute give attorneys incentive to collect money due to medicaid. I would say that many cases are settled without notice to medicaid under the prior 10%/7.5% rule. Apparently, the legislature is attempting to go back to the prior rule.
