This bill is very much needed in light of the many questions that have been raised about the constituionalty of bills being proposed during the current Concgessional session.
Can a bill still be passed if it does not meet Consitutional requirements? All that the bill says is that a point of order can be raised if the bill does not contain a statemnet of constitutional authority.
Read twice and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary.06/19/2008
