S.2519 - Federal Government

A bill to prohibit the awarding of a contract or grant in excess of the simplified acquisition threshold unless the prospective contractor or grantee certifies in writing to the agency awarding the contract or grant that the contractor or grantee has no seriously delinquent tax debts, and for other purposes.

    I think it is a good bill I just think if its serious that maybe the issue would need to be looked at. It could be differnt readons likek I used that money to start a business or I just want to own and pay it back when I have the finances or it could be people just have issues and don't want to deal with them. I would say a big debt is a problem and it should be dealt with in a responsible way.
    I think it is a legal issue thing or something so I dunno.
