The Government of the District of Columbia is flying in the face of the recent SCOTUS ruling in Heller v DC. The law-abiding residents of DC deserve no less than full access to their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms in defense of self and family; the Supreme Court said so, apparently the Legislative Branch needs to say to too. 
Referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and in addition to the Committee on the Judiciary, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.07/31/2008- Referred to House Oversight and Government Reform07/31/2008
