H.R.6501 - Federal Government

To amend the Social Security Act to establish a trust fund with proceeds from the taxing of internet gambling to provide opportunities to individuals who are, or were, in foster care and individuals in declining sectors of the economy.

    Whatever we can do to support the liberty of being able to gamble on all types of gaming using interstate communication lines or even intrastate is something I can support.

    I don't like the "house" cut of the money. Get it? House's cut? But it's a start. If this is the compromise to restore liberty then so be it. I'm marking support it, but if it turns out the bill is only taxing already legal Internet and other Advanced Deposit Wagering gaming then I oppose.
