Although (s)methoprene is reported to be safely used on pets for fleas and ticks, I'm fairly positive the reactions to this product as combined with fipronil in the Meril manufactured product Frontline Plus, has had dire effects upon my 15 year old husky and my long haired cat. We need more studies on possibly the combination of these two biochemicals as used in pet products and/or whatever consequences arise from the use of these products on aging pets please. I would suggest to restrict the usage/sale/etc. of this chemical (and/or in combination) until it has been more thoroughly researched please. Kill any bill that allows this biochemical!
