H.R.3930 - Federal Government

To extend for 6 months the maximum COBRA continuation coverage period for individuals who were involuntarily terminated between April 1, 2009, and December 31, 2009, and to amend the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 to extend the eligibility period and maximum assistance period for COBRA premium assistance under such Act.

    The extension is needed by many americans who are able to have healthcare because of the subsidy...despite not having a job,having healtcare is a blessing and a comfort!

    I read the text of the bill H.R. 3930, which I praise the Congressman highly for introducing, but it contains a difficult to understand inconsistency between the summary and the text:

    The summary says the start date is April 1, 2009 the body says April 1, 2008. The difference will affect millions of families. Will the bill be fixed"
