The public needs to be made aware of this new program. A silver alert was issued today during rush hour. Many cars slowed to almost a standstill reading the message on 95. I can only assume it is because everyone was confused. Was it a terror alert" Amber alert" I called a friend and they had no idea what it was. Get the word out. It is a great idea if the public is aware.
