    Joe get a life police are not "PAYD" paid that well. and you get killed when you do stupid and dumb things and have accidents. we get killed trying to save you, and get no respect for it at all. so shut up and go away

    What about other goverment employee's and first responders. What about Public Works? Do we not risk as much? This bill is NOT fair. Police are payed a salary for their duties and payed very well. There are more public works employees killed in the line of duty every year than police officers. Police do a great job, but they should not be given preference as a public servent over and above other public servents.

    Please continue to work to push this bill through! Police Officiers in our state deserve this ! They take on so much risk and are grossly underpaid for it!
