It's finally back to life! Amended and referred to Committee Apr 5, 2010. The amendments are even stricter. I do believe that this is the strongest regulation yet of the industry. Let us hope for the best. - debtsettlementfraud.org said07/14/2009
We were extremely disappointed to see that AB350 was sidelined today for what seems none other than politics as usual. This is a serious blow to the citizens of California. Debt Settlement is an industry that has made a very large footprint in California and many people have been and continue to be defrauded by the bad actors who will now enjoy more longevity. This industry is in severe need of regulation and the bureaucrats once again have dropped the ball in California. - anonymous said07/14/2009
This bill is good for consumers, business, and job creation...brings legitimacy to a much needed and proven industry. I hope it passes!
