All I have to say is wow. With all the financial trouble that faces the once great state of California it just amazes me that our politicians can still find useless programs to spend our tax money on. If anyone had any doubts before, this proves that CA politicians are declaring war on law abiding citizens. Does anyone really believe that this will stop criminals? Way to go guys. Thanks for trying to find another way to step on the law abiding citizens rights ! Well done Comrade

As a life long democrat and 14 year high school math teacher and fatherof three kids, who want to go target shooting and hunting, I can only say that your bill seems to have no other purpose than to hurt people like me. The republicans who have the money won't be financially affected by your bill and the gang thugs will ALWAYS be able to get their weapons illegally. If your bill passes my own kids will only be able to practice 16 to 18 shoots per month which is ridiculous in terms of practice. The $3.00 tax per box is also another slap to us low income people. I am not sure if you actually mean't for these unreasonable effects to occur, but if you did then it would be quite disturbing and not speak well of you as a person. I can only hope that the Senate doesn't pass this working class unfriendly bill. If it does then your credentials as a working class person's friend will have to be revised negatively.
