HOSPTL-UNINSURD PATIENT-CHARGE

Amends the Hospital Licensing Act. Provides that for any particular service, procedure, or item provided to an uninsured patient, a hospital must accept as payment in full an amount equal to 110% of the Medicare reimbursement rate for that service, procedure, or item. Provides that a hospital must provide an uninsured patient with an itemized bill that fully discloses the net amount due from the patient as payment in full. Effective immediately.
