FAMILY & MEDICAL LEAVE ACT Creates the Illinois Family and Medical Leave Act. Contains provisions similar to those in the federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, except that it applies to a son-in-law, daughter-in-law, father-in-law, or mother-in-law who has a serious health condition, and some of the provisions of the federal law pertaining to federal employees and federal matters have been deleted or changed.
