ELECTIONS-HOMEBOUND ABSENTEE

Amends the Election Code. With respect to a voter entitled to personal delivery of a ballot due to admission to a hospital, nursing home, or rehabilitation center not more than 5 days before an election, includes persons who, if released before or on the day of the election, are expected to be homebound and unable to travel to the polling place.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
With respect to personal delivery of a ballot to a voter admitted to a hospital, nursing home, or rehabilitation center before an election, requires that the admission occur not more than 14 (now, 5) days before the election.
