Recognizes the daily sacrifices made by, and expresses gratitude toward, families across the country and the world in support of members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Supports efforts of the Armed Forces YMCA and the many other organizations that work to assist U.S. military families.

Designates May 15, 2008, as Military Kids Day in the United States and at U.S. military installations throughout the world.
