Fiscal Summary for *SB3862 / HB3801Decrease State Expenditures - Not Significant/Risk Management Fund Decrease Local Expenditures - Not Significant Bill Summary for *SB3862 / HB3801 Under present law, an employee is eligible for workers' compensation benefits for an injury that occurs in the course and scope of the employee's employment. This bill specifies that an injury does not arise out of the course of an employee's employment if the injury occurs while the employee is on the employee's property, unless the employee is actively engaged in a defined work activity within an established immediate work area.
