ON APRIL 24, 2008, THE HOUSE SUBSTITUTED SENATE BILL 4050 FOR HOUSE BILL 3902, ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1, AND PASSED SENATE BILL 4050, AS AMENDED.
AMENDMENT #1 further clarifies that counties may fund more than one program to assist victims of crimes with monies collected for the victims assistance assessment. This amendment makes funding contingent upon the provider organization offering services to victims of crime free of charge.
