Labor and Workforce Development, Dept. of - Requires commissioner, upon receiving a complaint regarding employment of illegal aliens, to inform the person against whom the complaint is made that such person may request the name of the person filing the complaint or, if the complaint is filed by an agency or entity, the name of the person who caused the complaint to be filed; requires commissioner to provide name if it is requested. - Amends TCA Title 50, Chapter 1, Part 1.

ON MARCH 31, 2008, THE SENATE FURTHER CONSIDERED SENATE BILL 4069, AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENT #1, ADOPTED AMENDMENT #3, AND PASSED SENATE BILL 4069, AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENTS #1 AND #3.

AMENDMENT #3 rewrites this bill to require that upon receiving a complaint, the commissioner of labor and workforce development must inform the person against whom the complaint is filed that such person is authorized to request the name of the person who filed the complaint or caused the complaint to be filed. If the person against whom the complaint is filed requests the complainant's name then the commissioner will be required to provide the name.
