ON MARCH 17, 2008, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND RESET SENATE BILL 4069, AS AMENDED.
AMENDMENT #1 clarifies that the information rendered confidential by this bill may be discovered by a subpoena from a court of record.
ON MARCH 31, 2008, THE SENATE FURTHER CONSIDERED SENATE BILL 4069, AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENT #1, ADOPTED AMENDMENT #3, AND PASSED SENATE BILL 4069, AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENTS #1 AND #3.
AMENDMENT #3 rewrites this bill to require that upon receiving a complaint, the commissioner of labor and workforce development must inform the person against whom the complaint is filed that such person is authorized to request the name of the person who filed the complaint or caused the complaint to be filed. If the person against whom the complaint is filed requests the complainant's name then the commissioner will be required to provide the name.
