Fiscal Summary for *HB4099 / SB4143Increase State Expenditures - $17,000 Bill Summary for *HB4099 / SB4143 In 1955, the general assembly enacted the Interstate Compact on Juveniles to facilitate cooperative supervision of delinquent juveniles on probation or parole; the return, from one state to another, of delinquent juveniles who have escaped or absconded; and the return, from one state to another, of nondelinquent juveniles who have run away from home. The Compact contains additional measures for the protection of juveniles and of the public. This bill replaces the present Compact with a new Interstate Compact for Juveniles.
