Fiscal Summary for *HB4053 / SB4075Increase State Expenditures - Not Significant Bill Summary for *HB4053 / SB4075 This bill requires that any tort action related to the provision of long-term care health-related services be brought as a medical malpractice action. This bill also authorizes long-term care facilities to require any patient, as a condition of admission, to enter into an arbitration agreement. The facility may not discharge a patient, once admitted, for failure to enter into such an agreement.
