ON MARCH 24, 2008, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 3999, AS AMENDED.

AMENDMENT #1 specifies that the Johnny Hayes Highway will run from the segment of U.S. Highway 31E (East Broadway) from its intersection with North Water Avenue (State Route 174) in the city of Gallatin northeastward to the Bethpage community in Sumner County.

This amendment requires Sumner County to pay for the signs.
